Vincetti

Paul Cantrell is a graduate of Macalester College, class of 1998. He hails from Colorado, and has recently returned from world travelling to living in the St. Paul area, and working for National Public Radio. Paul's character, Vincetti, came about as a result of a certain Far Side cartoon, which Paul performed in my house at 63 Mac once. I was so moved by his 'fake italian', that I decided Decadent Guys needed an atrociously fake Italian scumbag. In developing backstory for Vincetti, Paul once voiced his opinion that Vincetti's particular brand of scuminess didn't seem to mesh with a drug-dealer type, but rather something more along the lines of kiddie-porn, which kind of puts his 'save-the-children' line into perspective. Although some might interpret his line to the Minister of Defense: "you guys should remember who put you where you are" as just shooting his mouth off, I prefer to believe that he did in fact have a hand in helping the Decadent Guys into their current positions of power. However, he proved too unsavory even for them, and so once ensconced, they did not invite him along for the ride. Perhaps we'll see more of these events in a future Decadent Guys installment. |
